NEW CCTV CAMERA INSTALLED IN BRIGG TO DETER AND DETECT CRIME

A welcome addition to the CCTV surveillance network in Brigg was reported during the Town Council's latest meeting, held in the Buttercross on Tuesday night (October 26).
A camera on a high post has been installed next to the Donkey Park children's play area near Almond Grove, following complaints of anti-social behaviour and vandalism.
This camera can also view a nearby approach to the Newlands housing estate, the top of Atherton Way (near the Lidl store car park) and the approaches to one of the main A18 roundabouts.
North Lincolnshire Council and Brigg Town Council have been working together for many months to improve local CCTV.
Cameras have been installed on Elwes Street, near the Millennium Green, and to survey the Old River Ancholme path and its surrounds between the County Bridge and the Ancholme Way Bridge.
Footage can be viewed at a central control centre in Scunthorpe.
