DETAILS OF ALL BRIGG MARKETS AND SHOPPING EVENTS UNTIL CHRISTMAS

Saturday markets in Brigg have really taken off in recent months, which is great to see.
So much so that some of us will benefit from having a week-by-week list of what's coming up.
We've now put one together and included information about a special Christmas Market, the festive lights switch-on and also late night shopping dates.
For a long time there was a small general market (fruit, veg, flowers & fish) EVERY Saturday, with Brigg Farmers' Market taking place, in addition, on the FOURTH Saturday of each month.
But more monthly regulars, with different themes, have now been added to the market scene.
The Love Brigg Arts, Crafts & Antiques Market is taking place on the SECOND Saturday.
The Totally Local Brigg Indie Market is held on the THIRD Saturday.
At present there are NO regular markets taking place on the FIRST Saturday of the month - the Lincolnshire Market staged on Saturday, October 2 being a one-off, following immediately after the Lincolnshire Day Food Fest (held Friday, October 1, noon to 8pm).
So to simplify things for shoppers, below is the programme set out in date order for the remainder of 2021.
Please note that there are some alterations because of the Christmas period, including the date of the farmers' event.
All Brigg markets run from early morning until mid-afternoon, and there's free car parking available in town.
We stress that the general Saturday market (fruit, veg, flowers & fish) operates every Saturday, in addition to any others, except on Christmas Day 2021.
There is also a bigger general market, with more stalls, every Thursday.

Saturday, November 13: Arts, Craft & Antiques Market & General Saturday Market.
Thursday, November 18: General Market.
Saturday, November 20: Indie Market & General Saturday Market.
Thursday; November 25: General Market followed by Special Christmas Market with traders' and charities' stalls, plus switching on the town centre's festive lights provided by Brigg Town Council (evening event) and free-to-enjoy disco from 4pm to 8pm; late night shopping.
Saturday, November 27: Brigg Farmers' Market (also with General Market stalls).
Thursday, December 2: General Market, followed by late night Christmas shopping after 5pm.
Saturday, December 4: Indie Market & General Saturday Market.
Thursday, December 9: General Market, followed by late night Christmas shopping after 5pm.
Saturday, December 11: Arts, Craft & Antiques Market & General Saturday Market.
Thursday, December 16: General Market followed by late night Christmas shopping after 5pm.
Saturday, December 18: Brigg Christmas Farmers' Market (also with General Market stalls).
Thursday, December 23: Christmas General Market.
Saturday, December 25: Christmas Day - no market.
Thursday, December 30: General Market.
