BRIGG PEOPLE AT MAJOR JOBS EXPO

People from Brigg were among those who attended a very successful Jobs Expo organised by North Lincolnshire Council in Scunthorpe. Some companies based in our area which had vacancies were also represented.
This was revealed by Coun Rob Waltham when he gave an update during Brigg Town Council's latest meeting held last night (Tuesday, October 26) in his role as the Leader of the unitary authority.
Coun Waltham said he had recognised people from Brigg at the expo.
North Lincolnshire Council declared the event held at the steel town's Baths Hall to be "a huge success" with more than 40 employers in attendance and hundreds of vacancies on offer.
Scunthorpe MP Holly Mumby-Croft, whose constituency includes Broughton, Scawby and other settlements in our area, opened the main event virtually via a big screen (see North Lincolnshire Council's picture above).
