PICTURES OF BRIGG IN THE STORM DARCY SNOW WITH MORE BAD WEATHER TO COME

Wintry weather continues to be the main talking point in Brigg and the Met Office warns that a cold WEEK is ahead for the whole UK "with the continued snow predominantly in the east." Read the full forecast here...
Local drone owner Neil Stapleton has kindly supplied us with some bird's eye views of the snow-affected town taken yesterday (Monday, February 8) while Brigg Blog recorded the ground level scene in the Market Place and from the County Bridge (also seen here).

The wintry weather relates to Storm Darcy, also dubbed The Beast From the East 2 and the Beast from the Baltic as easterly airstreams are bringing it over from chilly Scandinavia.
