MODERN REPLACEMENT PLANNED ON BRIGG ESTATE

A modern new light industrial unit is planned on Brigg's Ancholme Business Park. The intention is to demolish an existing structure which was built in the late 1960s and erect a modern replacement
at 2 Atherton Way.
The application from local company Jonro Properties Ltd is now being considered by North Lincolnshire Council.
The site is not far from the Lidl store - on the opposite side of Atherton Way - and is close to the Donkey Field children's park.
Details submitted with the application point out the present unit is unoccupied. A supporting statement on behalf of the applicant notes that the location is within an area zoned for light industry and storage.
As part of the planning process, Brigg Town Council will be consulted.

The North Lincs authority has now granted planning permission for a first-floor side extension to be added to 19 Foxglove Close, Brigg. This is on the housing estate north of Newlands.
Council planners have also approved the erection of an extension to the rear of 43 High Street, Broughton, and a single-storey rear extension at Kerenza Cottage, Main Street, Howsham.
