BRIGG MARKET IS ON TODAY

Brigg Market is ON today (Saturday, February 13) but with only one van and a stall near the Buttercross (pictured above).
North Lincolnshire Council cancelled market stalls on Thursday because of the wintry weather although fruit & veg sales were switched to a vacant shop nearby in the Market Place.
Fresh produce is again available from the usual double-sized stall today. The council has made a good job of salting the pedestrian area to make things easier for shoppers.

Meanwhile, as lockdown restrictions continue on shops classed as non-essential, gift provider Honey Bee has completed its move from courtyard to Wrawby Street - now occupying refurbished premises with an attractive sign on the frontage. It's at No 71 - between Cooplands and DDM.

Conditions are cold and chilly again today, with a biting wind. So mind how you go if venturing outdoors. However, many hardy joggers are still out exercising today across the town!
