BRIGG TOWN CENTRE ANNIVERSARY AHEAD

One Brigg shop closed its doors for the final time five years ago, but the premises soon welcomed a new venture (seen above) which is still with us today.
Cookshop Brigg, located midway along Wrawby Street, served its last customers on Saturday, June 24, 2017.
Brigg Blog walked past these premises half-a-dozen times on the final day and reported that "on each occasion the Cookshop was filled with people viewing items on offer in the closing down sale."
That was a farmers' market Saturday when fine weather prevailed.
Something Old - Something New launched just three weeks later at the same location - on Saturday, July 15, 2017.
Still with us today and selling pre-owned furniture and household items, its fifth anniversary as these premises in Brigg town centre is drawing near.
No 59 Wrawby Street housed Instone's, the family-run grocery business, for many years.
The building within the conservation area later underwent considerable refurbishment.
