It's picnic time in Brigg on Sunday as the town concludes its celebrations to mark the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.
Residents are being invited to take tables, chairs and picnic baskets down to the Market Place from noon on June 5 for an afternoon of free family entertainment.
Following the 1pm opening ceremony by Town Mayor Coun Brian Parker who will travel along the river I'm a boat, well-known local singers Ian 'Mash' Baxter and Rachel Day will be performing popular tunes. Rachel is also to compere the event.
People can then opt to enjoy free boat trips on the River Ancholme during the afternoon (courtesy of Glanford Boat Club) until 4pm.
Trophies will be presented to Brigg's Jubilee Prince and the Jubilee Princess at 4.45pm in the Market Place.
There will be a Churches Together communal service at 5.15pm, a performance by the Brigg Singers at 6pm, and then Last Night of the Proms music from Barnetby Silver Band starting at 6.20pm.
Brigg Town Council is offering free refreshments for children in the Church Hall, Bigby Street, on the final day of the St John's Jubilee Flower Festival.
Adults are being asked to take their own mugs with them for free tea and coffee refills.
Among street parties being held in the town on Sunday will be one organised by residents of Yarborough Road.
The Black Bull, on Wrawby Street, continues its Jubilee Week programme on Sunday with The Shania Twain Tribute in the beer garden from 8pm to 10pm. Free admission - all welcome. This gig will offer "all the 1990s hits & more."
On Monday (June 6) the Black Bull has a Noughties Nostalgia Night with Brad Mack, 8pm to 10pm. Free admission.
