LEISURE PLANS FOR THE BRIGG AREA INCLUDE HOLIDAY USE AND A COMMERCIAL ANGLING FACILITY


Planning applications in the Brigg area relating to holiday use, pleasure angling and a new food store are now seeking council approval.
Permission is being sought from North Lincolnshire planners for two static caravans for non-residential holiday use and the installation of five hard-standing pitches for touring caravans at the Woodside Campsite, Main Street, Bonby, within the Brigg & Wolds Ward.
West Lindsey District Council has yet to decide an application for the proposed change of use of an existing habitat pond to a commercial fishing pond and the erection of a fishing hut/welfare building with associated access and car parking on land off Grasby Road, Grasby.
West Lindsey planners have now granted planning permission to remove an existing extension and erect a two-storey replacement, and to replace a Nissen hut with a double garage including new access, at North View, Brigg Road, South Kelsey.
The Gainsborough-based authority has approved proposed two-storey side and single-storey rear extensions (following removal of an outbuilding) at 8 Smithy Lane, Bigby.
West Lindsey planners have yet to rule on an application for front and rear extensions and a new car park layout at the Primary School, Chapel Street, North Kelsey.
North Lincolnshire Council has granted planning permission for a steel container-style cabin containing welfare and restroom facilities at Sangreat Kennels, Inglenook, Scawby Road, Scawby Brook.
The authority has also approved a two-storey side extension at Shearluc, 85 Main Street, Bonby.
It has yet to decide applications to erect a dwelling on land to the west of Sherwood House, The Hill, Worlaby, and to erect extensions to a bungalow and detached garage and associated alterations at Porthceri, Vicarage Road, Wrawby.
The council says an application to erect holiday cottages with associated stores and garages on land adjacent to 87 Redbourne Road, Hibaldstow, has now been withdrawn.
When North Lincolnshire Council's Planning Committee holds its monthly meeting tomorrow (Wednesday, June 8) two local applications will be considered by councillors:
Change the use of a paddock to residential curtilage, form a driveway, erect entrance gates and install children's play equipment, with associated works,  Fox Farm, Cadney Road, Howsham.
Erect a single-storey side extension, a two-storey rear extension with a porch to the rear, and an extension to the garage, The Lilacs, 51 Main Street, Saxby All Saints.
The committee will be meeting at Church Square House, High Street, Scunthorpe, from 2pm.
