BRIGG TOWN, BROUGHTON & HIBALDSTOW CRICKETERS HAVE JUBILEE WEEKEND HOME GAMES

Three Brigg and district teams will be in Lincolnshire County Cricket League action on Jubilee Saturday (June 4) starting at 1pm.
Brigg Town have a chance to climb off the foot of the Division Three West table when they host second-from-bottom Outcasts 2nds at the Recreation Ground, off Wrawby Road.
This will be Town's first home league match of the season in the newly-formed West section - Division Three having been split this season after some new teams were admitted to the league.
Broughton, who have made an indifferent start to the 2022 campaign by their standards, travel to Lincoln to meet Hartsholme in Division One.
Keen to make further progress in the Bob Welton Cup, Hibaldstow enjoy home advantage against Nettleham 2nds in a quarter-final, in a tie switched to Owmby because of Jubilee celebrations.
Broughton 2nds will be at home to Scunthorpe Town 3rds this Saturday in Division Three West.
On Sunday (June 5) in the Mick Walker North Lindsey League there is a Division Two local derby - Hibaldstow 2nds v Broughton 3rds (1.30pm).
Brigg will see another Ancholme Valley Parkrun this Saturday, starting at 9am from the Ancholme Way Bridge and heading north along the riverside path. Competitors are being asked to dress up as they see fit for this Jubilee Weekend event.
Last Saturday's run was the 16th since the launch and attracted more than 100 competitors - the winner being allied to a club in Sheffield and the runner-up coming from Barnsley.
Many local runners also took part. View full details here...
An appeal is being made for volunteers to help run these weekly events. If you can help, email ancholmevalleyway@parkrun.com
