SEVEN APPLICATIONS SUBMITTED IN THE BRIGG AREA

Applications from Brigg, Broughton and local villages continue to be submitted to local authority planners for consideration.
North Lincolnshire Council has agreed that two tall trees within the Brigg Conservation Area can be trimmed.
Having received a Notice of Intention from a member of the public to prune three trees on a grass verge near Ivy Cottage, on Albert Street, the local authority has consented to this work being carried out.
A council assessment report said the suggested works would be limited to cutting back to the boundary line.

Permission has been granted for a single-storey oak-framed orangery extension at The Coach House adjacent to The Mount, Brigg Road, Castlethorpe.
Outline planning permission has been given to erect a dwelling on land to the rear of 98 High Street, Broughton.
Approval for partial change of use of a paddock into a manège training area has been given for land to the rear of The Horseshoes, Melton Road, Wrawby.
Yet to be decided by North Lincolnshire planners is an application to erect a one-and-a-half-storey extension (including demolition of existing conservatory) at Edlington House Farm, Church Lane, Cadney.
Planning approval to erect a dwelling on land at Highfield, Thornton Road, South Kelsey, is now being requested from West Lindsey District Council (decision yet to be notified).
West Lindsey planners have granted permission for the replacement windows and doors at Manor Barn, 10 Somerby Green, Somerby.
