Extensive events to be held in Brigg to mark Her Majesty The Queen's Platinum Jubilee begin tomorrow (Thursday, June 2).
The initial event starts at 9.30am - a special flower festival at St John's Church within the town centre.
Entitled Flowers Fit For A Queen, this festival will continue through to Sunday (June 5), opening hours being 9.30am to 4pm daily.
Admission is free (donations welcome) and there will be refreshments available in the Church Hall, on Bigby Street.
The displays have been submitted by local groups and residents.
The Black Bull, on Wrawby Street, has singer Jade Wright performing a 'Back to the 1960s' gig in the pub's beer garden, from 2pm to 4pm. Everyone is welcome to attend - free admission.
At 2pm the Town Crier will read the official Jubilee proclamation in the Market Place where the market stalls will be operating as usual from early morning.
The Jubilee Town Crier is Chris Darlington, one of the Freemen of Brigg - an honour awarded for this services to the community.
There's a showpiece event to follow on Thursday evening on the Millennium Green, Elwes Street - the lighting of Brigg's Jubilee Beacon (one of hundreds across the UK).
Town residents are welcome to attend this free event organised by the Town Council, and there is no need to book places in advance.
People can assemble from 8pm when fast food, including hot dogs and burgers, will be available courtesy of the Scouts whose headquarters border the Green.
The well-known Ancholme Jazz Band will be performing for an hour from 8.30pm.
Formal proceedings get under way at 9.30pm with the proclamation being read by the Town Crier, followed by a tune from the piper and a bugle fanfare.
Scouts and the Town Mayor, Coun Brian Parker, will light the beacon at 9.45pm, with Brigg Singers performing a special Jubilee piece.
People coming by car for the beacon lighting are asked to park behind the Angel building before making their way to the Green - a short distance away.
Other options are the main Old Courts Road car park and Station Road near Bigby Street (adjoining Hewson House).
Toilet facilities will be available on Thursday evening in the Scouts' HQ.
There is a free-to-attend party night with music at the Dying Gladiator, Bigby Street, hosted by landlord Eugene Irwin.
