BIG WEEKEND FOR RUNNERS IN BRIGG & BROUGHTON

The Ancholme Valley Way Parkrun began in Brigg in February 2022 and is held every Saturday morning

A host of runners will be taking part in Brigg and Broughton events this weekend.
Tomorrow (Saturday, June 18) will see the next Ancholme Valley Parkrun starting at 9am from the Ancholme Way Bridge in Brigg and heading north along the riverside path.
Last Saturday, 106 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 49 were first-timers and 12 recorded new personal bests.
The Gallagher family, from Searby, and Amber, from Cleethorpes, completed their first parkruns.
Representatives of 25 different clubs took part, plus "tourists" from High Wycombe, South London, Manchester, Market Rasen, Northampton and Barnsley.
Our thanks go to Julie Taylor for the update.
