BIKE NIGHT, MUSIC, MARKETS & MORE COMING UP IN BRIGG


Brigg Town Football Club will be hosting its next monthly Bike Night this evening (Thursday, June 9).
Riders and spectators will be meeting up at the EC Surfacing Stadium, off Wrawby Road, from 5pm to 9pm.
The club launched its Bike Nights in April and they are proving popular - being held on the second Thursday each month.
Tomorrow (Friday, June 10) there's an opportunity to "enjoy an evening of spiritual communications" with renowned medium, Paul Humphries, at Brigg & District Servicemen’s Club, Coney Court, from 7pm. Tickets cost £10. Call 07308 149122.
The Woolpack will have singer Paul Brian performing hits from the 1980s on Friday night. Admission free.
Brigg Town Football Club's licensed Hawthorns venue will be welcoming The Genie Lamps from 8pm on Saturday, playing songs familiar to fans of Pulp, The Undertones, Elvis, Chuck Berry, Johnny Cash, Queen, Pink Floyd and others. No charge for admission - all welcome.
There will be a Saturday night disco & karaoke at the Dying Gladiator, Bigby Street, karaoke at the Woolpack, and disco music at the Black Bull and the Britannia Inn (both on Wrawby Street).
Damian Balthazar will be performing rock & pop songs at Broughton Workingmen's Club on Saturday evening.
The latest Love Brigg Arts Crafts & Antiques Market will take place in the town centre on Saturday with a range of stalls trading from 8.30am. It will accompany the traditional Saturday Market offering fruit & veg, flowers and fish.
Brigg's 5 Tenents Martial Arts Academy on West Terrace (off Bridge Street) is holding an open day on Saturday to raise funds for Macmillan charity. The 5TMA will have drinks, food, games and stalls on offer to visitors From 9am to 1pm.
