BIG ATTENDANCE EXPECTED AT JUNE'S BRIGG FARMERS' MARKET

June shoppers at Brigg Farmers' Market

One of the biggest Brigg Farmers' Market attendances of 2022 can be expected tomorrow (Saturday, June 25) with fingers crossed for sunny weather.
Town centre stalls will be selling a range of products including bread, cheese, cakes, meat, jam and bottled beer, from 8.30am into the afternoon.
The traditional Saturday market will also take place - offering fruit & veg, flowers and fish.
Both markets are managed by North Lincolnshire Council.
Market shoppers can use the main Old Courts Road car park free of charge.
In addition, plenty of spaces are available on Station Road near the Hewson House office block (now declared surplus to requirements by North Lincolnshire Council).
While previewing the Farmers' market we've been asked to mention Brigg Town Football Club's stall selling season tickets, programmes and other merchandise.
People are also welcome "to come and see what the club has to offer - both on and off the field."
As this is a Community Interest Club, volunteers are welcome to get involved at the EC Surfacing Stadium.
Brigg Heritage Centre, housed in the Angel building, will be open during Saturday's market, with a special Garden Insects activity event aimed at children, from 10am to 1.30pm.
Sunday (June 26) will see a family fun day being staged at historic Wrawby Windmill, from 11am to 4pm. Attractions include a barbecue, stalls, family games, vintage tractors and classic cars. This preserved mill is the last of its type in the region and is looked after by volunteers.
