Stephen Harris, of Brigg Matters magazine, has kindly shared some pictures he took yesterday (Thursday, June 2) on the opening day of the town's celebrations for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.
They show singer Jade Wright, from Castleford, who performed before a large gathering in the Black Bull pub's beer garden, and local volunteers cleaning up ahead of last night's Beacon lighting ceremony on the Millennium Green, Elwes Street.
The main picture above shows a group from the Nunsthorpe Tavern in Grimsby who had visited the Wrawby Street hostelry for a "Breakfast Outing."
