FOOD FOR THOUGHT IN AND NEAR BRIGG

Hungry people on nights out in Brigg town centre can now enjoy takeaways provided by established local caterer Lak's Thai.
Dishes, including curry, can be obtained from a mobile facility in the rear beer garden of the Black Bull pub, Wrawby Street, on Friday and Saturday evenings, from 5pm to 9pm.
This is in addition to the familiar catering service offered by Lak's.
The new Millfield Bar & Restaurant at Castlethorpe has had a routine food hygiene and been awarded the highest rating - five stars, "very good" - by North Lincolnshire Council in the national Food Standards Agency scheme.

Real ale fans planning to visit the Yarborough Hunt, on Bridge Street, Brigg, should note that Humber Hopster beer is back.
It has a new promotional logo displayed on the pump-clip. We passed the bar several times last night during our weekly visit without realising locally-brewed Hopster had returned.
The Yarborough Hunt is the 'brewery tap' outlet for Lincolnshire Craft Beers, of Melton Ross.
