USE THE CALL CONNECT BUS TO VISIT BRIGG

Changes to local bus services are resulting in fewer villagers coming to Brigg, it was suggested during the Town Council's latest meeting.
Coun Ann Eardley raised the matter, saying some people from Ulceby who used to come to Brigg to spend several hours visiting the Pop-in Centre and the town centre on Saturdays were no longer doing so.
Coun Rob Waltham, the leader of North Lincolnshire Council, denied that fewer buses overall were visiting Brigg each week and read out statistics to support his argument.
He highlighted the availability of the Call Connect dial-a-bus service to people in the Ulceby area, allowing them to spend longer in Brigg and to choose when they arrived and when they returned home.

All the call connect bus services are is a glorified taxi service.

Instead of spending subsidy on this they should be spending it on proper bus services
