BRIGG CASCADE OF POPPIES TO GO ON DISPLAY

The Cascade of Poppies will be unveiled in Brigg tomorrow (Monday, October 22).
The display will be on the balcony at the front of the Angel building, from 8.30am.
It will stay in place until  November 11 - the date in 1918 when the armistice was signed to end fighting in the First World War.
Poppies will be on sale from Friday, October 26 and members of the public can add theirs to the display.
They can be bought from Brigg Tourist Information Centre at The Buttercross,  the Cafe Courtyard and other retail outlets within the town.
