A major sporting event is coming up in Brigg this weekend.
Hundreds will be taking part and dozens more local people are expected to be there as spectators.
The Brigg Poppy 10K Race and Military Challenge 2018 will take place on Sunday, October 28.
The route is from the town centre along Elwes Street and Cadney Road.
Runners will meet up in the Market Place, with the Military Challenge starting at 9.30 and the Poppy 10k at 9.45am.
Five hundred is the maximum number of entries permitted for this major spectator event which benefits the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.
Race organisation is being undertaken by Curly's Athletes, with the prize-giving around 11.15am to 11.30am. The minimum age for those taking part is 16.
Military Challenge competitors are required to wear boots and carry a weighted backpack.
With hundreds of people in the town centre on Sunday, there's an opportunity for local businesses to cash in by selling food and drink.
