BIG MATCH COMING UP FOR BRIGG TOWN FOOTBALL CLUB


There's a very important game  coming up for Brigg Town Football Club this weekend.
Currently second in the
Balcan Lighting Supplies Lincolnshire Football League Premier standings and unbeaten,  the Zebras journey to  leaders Lincoln United Reserves on Saturday, October 13 (3pm).
It will be interesting to see how many Zebras' fans make the trip down the A15 to the county capital.
Lincoln United Reserves currently lead Brigg by three points, but the Zebras have two games in hand and a slightly better goal difference.
In the E C Surfacing Ltd Scunthorpe & District League on October 13 there will be knockout competition ties for two Brigg and district teams.
Barnetby United are away to  Epworth Town Colts Blues in a T.S.W. Printers Sporting Shield quarter-final (2.30pm KO).
Briggensians host Crosby Colts in the first round of the Johnsons Transport Ironstone Cup (2.30pm).
Meanwhile, league newcomers Hibaldstow Wanderers will be at home to Crosby Colts Reserves in division two, kicking off at 3pm.
There is no scheduled fixture for division two leaders Barnetby United Reserves this Saturday.
