Roadworks about to start in Brigg are scheduled to last for up to seven weeks.
Delays are likely, motorists using the A18 are being advised.
The Cadent gas supply company will be working on Wrawby Road, Brigg, and near the turn-off to Brickyard Lane, Wrawby, between Friday, October 26 and December 13.
The essential task involves replacing 740 metres of cast iron gas main with plastic pipes.
The same company will also be working near the junction of Churchill Avenue and Wrawby Road, Brigg, between Friday, October 26 and November 15.
Temporary traffic lights will control the flow of traffic through both sets of roadworks.
