BRIGG BLOG'S FOOTBALL PREVIEW FOR SATURDAY OCTOBER 20th 2018

Leaders Brigg Town - still unbeaten this season in the Balcan Lighting Supplies Lincolnshire League Premier - have another away game coming up.
The Zebras will visit mid-table Lincoln Moorlands Railway on Saturday, October 20 (3pm KO).
In the EC Surfacing Ltd Scunthorpe & District Football League, Barnetby United have a home fixture at the village's Silver Street ground.
The Railwaymen will host AFC Queensway in an E C Surfacing Ltd Challenge Cup quarter-final (2.30pm KO).
Hibaldstow Wanderers will be away to Crosby Colts in a T.S.W. Printers Sporting Shield quarter-final (2.30pm).
Division two leaders Barnetby United Reserves travel to play Sherpa (3pm start).
Briggensians have no scheduled league game this Saturday. Below are a few second half pictures we took at The Hawthorns last Saturday (October 13).

The Recreation Ground at neighbouring Broughton has suffered chafer grub damage to areas of grass. Volunteers are welcome to assist at a community repair day on Sunday, October 21, from 9am until late afternoon. Report to the venue on Scawby Road if you have time to spare.

There was also some league hockey being enjoyed on the 'Blue Astro' floodlit pitch at Brigg Recreation Ground last Saturday afternoon, involving the local club's men's 4th XI, playing in their long-familiar emerald green shirts.
