Work is now well under way to transform a Brigg town centre bank so it's counter-free.
When the Lloyds branch, on Wrawby Street, reopens it will have gained additional machines people can use to pay in and withdraw bank notes, but the traditional counters manned by staff will have gone.
The bank is due to reopen on Thursday, October 11 - market day.
As a gesture of goodwill, some customers were hoping Lloyds would have kept the familiar cash machine outside the premises in full running order during the brief closure, but this has not happened.
The machine is currently out of service (pictured above) and Lloyds customers are having to use other ATMs within the town.
With the NatWest and HSBC branches closed for good and Lloyds shut temporarily, Barclays is the only high street bank currently open in Brigg.
Thankfully, it has an ATM outside we know is in working order.
When Lloyds reopens it will have staff on hand to advise customers.
