THRILLING FINISH TO BRIGG TOWN FC CUP-TIE LAST NIGHT

Brigg Town Football Club won a home cup-tie in exciting fashion last night (Wednesday, September 7).
The Zebras were two goals down to Rossington Main until the 63rd minute when Scott Phillips (pictured) reduced the arrears from the penalty spot.
It stayed that way until just two minutes of 'normal' time remained on the clock when Kevan Kahoussi provided an equaliser. Then Finley O'Sullivan came up with a last-gasp winner.
This Toolstation Northern Counties East League Cup first round midweek encounter between Division One teams drew a sizeable official attendance, 280, to the EC Surfacing Stadium.
Please note that Brigg Town FC's Bike Night at the ground which was provisionally earmarked to be held tonight (Thursday, September 8) will instead take place later this month on a date to be announced. These Bike Nights, to be held monthly, were launched in April.
