COUNTRYSIDE CHARITY HOSTING EVENT IN BRIGG & VISITORS ARE WELCOME

Brigg Blog has been asked to help publicise an annual meeting coming up in the town, to be held by an organisation which is welcoming visitors to its event.
The CPRE countryside charity's Northern Lincolnshire Branch is inviting interested people to attend its AGM on Saturday, October 15 at the Buttercross, in the Market Place.
Tea and coffee will be available from 2pm. Refreshments will be followed by an expert talk of local interest from Dr Kevin Leahy (pictured) at 2.30pm.
His subject is The Lost Valley: Anglo-Saxons in Winterton Vale.
Many people will recall Dr Kevin's connections with the local museum service.
CPRE members will enjoy free admission; the cost to visitors is £5.
Tickets are available by emailing maryallen491@gmail.com or calling 07977 703623.
