BRIGG JEWELLERY FEST & LIVE MUSIC THIS WEEKEND

Someone came up with a gem of an idea for something different in Brigg town centre this Saturday (September 17).
Shoppers can visit the Totally Locally Brigg Indie Market Jewellery Festival from 8.30am, through the morning and into the afternoon.
Many traders will be attending, some offering food and refreshments alongside the jewellery-related stalls.
Live music can be expected in the Bandstand and nearby to entertain town centre visitors to this festival.
The Traditional Saturday Market will be operating for those requiring fruit & veg, flowers and fish.
Brigg Heritage Centre's new Beeting Heart exhibition about the history of Brigg Sugar Factory will be open on the first floor of the Angel building, from 10am to 2pm on Saturday (admission free). This is getting good reviews with local people putting names to faces on the wide range of pictures on view which show factory workers and those attending events at the Social Club, on Scawby Road, years ago.
There's a choice of music-related events in Brigg - starting tonight (Friday 16th) with
a Meatloaf tribute at Market Place venue the Woolpack from Mark Greenfield, starting at 9pm.

Tomorrow (Saturday) the recently launched Vault (cocktail bar) will have Sean Jackson, singer/guitarist, performing from 8.30pm.
Singer Lindsay Pepper will be at Brigg & District Servicemen's Club, Coney Court, from 8.30pm.
The Dying Gladiator, on Bigby Street, will be staging another of its popular karaoke & disco sessions on Saturday night until late, and there will be karaoke at the Woolpack.
Vocalist Aday will offer rock and pop classics at Broughton Working Men's Club on Saturday evening, while Crystal Croft will perform chart-busting hits at the town's Red Lion.

There's a Shop Local Pop Up Market coming up in Hibaldstow Village Hall on Sunday (September 18) from 10am to 2pm.

PICTURED: Jewellery will be on sale at Brigg's Indie Market tomorrow, while Mark Greenfield - "A Dead Ringer For Meatloaf" - will be performing at the Woolpack tonight.
