BOB NICHOLSON: BRIGG PEOPLE INVITED TO RAISE A GLASS IN HIS MEMORY ON TUESDAY

People in Brigg and district are reminded that the funeral service for long-serving former local publican Bob Nicholson will be held tomorrow (Tuesday, September 13) at Woodlands Crematorium, off Brumby Wood Lane, Scunthorpe, at 10.40am.
It will be followed by a wake at Glanford Boat Club, Brigg, from 12.30pm.
People who knew Bob are being invited down to raise a glass in his memory. Sombre attire is not required.
The clubhouse near the River Ancholme is located off Island Carr Road. Turn off Bridge Street at the mini-roundabout and continue to the end of the industrial road.
Glanford Boat Club is signposted - being almost straight ahead.
Bob spent many, many happy hours boating on the River Ancholme, and elsewhere. He was a keen member of the local club.
