One of the fast food takeaway outlets in Brigg town centre has submitted a premises licence application which includes opening on Christmas Day.
In the application Marmaris Pizza - serving burgers, pizzas, kebabs and soft drinks at 45 Wrawby Street - has supplied the authority with proposed 'late night refreshment on and off the premises' opening hours, and also 'hours open to the public'.
Both sections include what are described as 'non-standard timings' relating to Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.
'Hours open to the public' set out in the application for these days are: 4.30pm to 1.30am the following morning.
A public notice setting out full details of the premises licence application was put on display at Marmaris Pizza.
A standard public consultation period applies here, which will conclude in late September.
North Lincolnshire Council, as the local licensing authority, will make its decision at a later date.
