CAR ON ITS ROOF FOLLOWING COLLISION IN BRIGG

These images show the scene following a road traffic collision in Brigg around 9.30pm last night (Monday, September 19).
Damage was sustained by one moving vehicle and two which were parked on Grammar School Road, near the junction with Redcombe Lane.
We have received no mention of any injuries being sustained.
"On hearing a double-bang, a number of local residents came out of their houses to find a Peugeot 307 on its roof on the offside pavement," we were informed this morning by a Brigg resident.
Humberside Police and a Brigg fire crew attended the scene, and a recovery firm later removed one vehicle, with road access being restored.
Brigg Blog contacted Humberside Police early this morning with a request for comment and/or information. A reply is awaited. 

10.09AM UPDATE FROM HUMBERSIDE POLICE: "Officers were called to reports of a road traffic collision on Grammar School Road, Brigg, at around 9:30pm last night (Monday 19 September). It was reported that a car had overturned after being in collision with a parked car. It is believed that two men were seen fleeing the vehicle. Enquiries are ongoing to locate the men, who were described as wearing light tops and darker bottoms and are believed to be aged in their 30s.
