A late surge by Brigg Town Football Club brought a very welcome home win at the EC Surfacing Stadium yesterday (Saturday, September 17).
The Zebras' first team defeated Horbury Town 2-1 at the EC Surfacing Stadium - a scoreline which knocked the visitors off the top of the table and advanced Brigg to within a point of the promotion play off places in Toolstation Northern Counties East Division One.
Brigg went behind to late a first half goal from the penalty spot and things stayed that way until four minutes from full time when Fraser Papprill netted the equaliser.
Alfie Usher then provided Brigg's last gasp winner.
There was another good-sized home crowd - 248 - to support this fixture.
