INVESTMENT PLANNED IN BRIGG TOWN CENTRE

Investment is planned in a number of well-known properties within Brigg town centre.
Approval is now being sought from North Lincolnshire Council to replace 14 first floor windows with timber windows at 15-21 Old Courts Road and 5-11 Chapel Court, close to the town's main car park.
An application detailing the planned work has been submitted by a local firm, with the current first floor use of the buildings described as offices.
A heritage statement accompanying the application explains that office tenants have requested that the landlord provides an upgrade.
Some of the buildings are within the Brigg Conservation Area.
Brigg Town Council will be consulted as part of the planning process prior to North Lincolnshire authority planners making their decision.
The Chapel Court development, offering shops and offices, was officially opened almost exactly 30 years ago - on August 14, 1991 to be precise!
