BIG CROWD WATCHED BRIGG TOWN FC IN ACTION LAST NIGHT

Brigg Town Football Club played before a very large midweek crowd by ToolStation Northern Counties East Division One standards last night (Tuesday, August 17).
Watched by 425 spectators, the Zebras made the relatively short trip over the Humber Bridge to play North Ferriby in a Humberside derby which finished 2-2.
Ferriby took a very early lead but Jack Boswell levelled shortly before half-time.
Brigg then took the lead courtesy of Alfie Usher after 57 minutes, only for the home side to equalise soon afterwards.
This away point leaves Brigg in seventh place in the table after their first four fixtures. The Zebras are three points behind the leading pair - Nostell Miners Welfare and Selby Town.
There were eight games in Division One last night, and North Ferriby v Brigg attracted the biggest attendance by far - the next best being 293 for Hallam v Rossington.
