BRIGG MUSIC FANS PUT ON THEIR DANCING SHOES

Live music from Peacekeeperz was enjoyed at a Brigg pub on Saturday night (August 14).
Our picture was taken at the Market Place's Woolpack, where many people took to the stage while the rock band performed covers of well-known hits from decades past. Admission to this gig was free.
There were similar busy scenes at the Dying Gladiator, on Bigby Street, where landlord Eugene Irwin took a turn as DJ and  selected the tracks for the popular Saturday night disco.
Brigg & District Servicemen's Club hosted a live rockabilly gig by Relentless, with supporting disco, on Saturday.

There will be more live music at the Coney Court venue this Saturday night (August 21) when Rob Bishop (pictured) will be singing standards made famous by Neil Diamond, Roy Orbison and many others. Tickets for this show in aid of the Shed charity cost £5. Call 07308 149122.
On Sunday (August 22) there will be a family disco and party games at the Servicemen's Club, from 1pm to 3pm. Admission costs £2 - pay on the door.
For those just wanting a quiet pint or two and a chat with friends, the Yarborough Hunt, on Bridge Street, is a popular Saturday night choice - being the 'tap' outlet for Lincolnshire Craft Beers (Melton Ross).
We have long enjoyed the Hunt's ever-changing line-up of hand-pulled 'guest' real ales but in recent weeks have become very partial to one of it own brews, Humber Hopster - a tasty pale ale, 4.0 per cent in strength - at the expense of all others on offer from the pumps.
