BIG CROWD SUPPORTS BRIGG TOWN FOOTBALL CLUB

Brigg Town Football Club are among the leading pack in ToolStation Northern Counties East Division One following yesterday's home game at the EC Surfacing Stadium (Hawthorns). And there was another sizeable attendance watching the Zebras.
Town beat Hallam 2-1 with first half goals from Dayle Hutson and Martin Pembleton.
The crowd of 261 was the second highest of the day in Division One - just a dozen fewer than the Hall Road Rangers v North Ferriby derby attracted.
Brigg Town are sixth, having taken 10 points from their opening five fixtures. However, they have the same number of points as the four sides ranked above them on goal difference. Selby top the table with 13 points.
The Zebras' next league game will be on Wednesday evening (August 25) when they visit Armthorpe Welfare (near Doncaster).
