Many Brigg people will be attending the Wrawby Mill Family Fun Day on Monday, August 30, opening hours being from 11am to 4pm.
There's FREE admission. So no 'bread' or 'dough' is required! Make a note of the date.
Attractions centred on this historic grade two* structure, which is cared for by a preservation group, will include classic cars, stationary steam engines, a barbecue, raffle and tombola, cakes, ice cream and music from Barnetby Silver Band.
It's good to see this wind-powered village landmark again being open to the public on a bank holiday.
Having been derelict for many years, the post mill was carefully restored in the 1960s. It is one of the last survivors of this original type of windmill in the region.
Wrawby Mill and Hibaldstow Mill are the only grade two* (star) listed mills in North Lincolnshire.
Wrawby's gained its listing in 1951, with Hibaldstow's being added in 1987.
