Brigg Horse Fair 2021 was held on the traditional date, August 5, and attracted spectators of all ages to view the steeds and watch some of them being trotted along Station Road and even some nearby streets within the town centre. Here are 27 pictures featuring some of the people who attended.
Thursday morning's weather was perfect - sunny and warm but with a breeze to take the edge of the air temperature. We visited for an hour from 10.30am.
Horse trading was undertaken in line with the aims of the historic annual fair and there were various supporting stalls displaying leather saddles, other riding accessories and even kettles, pots and pans.
The refreshment trailer did steady trade, particularly in drinks.
Some colourful and traditional Romany caravans were on display.
Protective barriers on one side of Station Road keep those arriving at, and leaving, the fair away from the horses and the traps they were pulling.
Security staff were on duty, with Humberside Police officers on patrol within the town centre.
Many Brigg people attended the fair and were joined by others from across the district.
