PLANNED CHANGES 'WILL HELP PRESERVE' LISTED BUILDING IN BRIGG

Approval is now being sought to make internal alterations to a grade two listed building within Brigg town centre.
North Lincolnshire Council previously granted 'change of use' permission for the former HSBC bank at 27 Market Place to be transformed into licensed premises.
Further approval is now being sought to make some minor internal changes by relocating the proposed toilets for what will become The Vault Bar & Kitchen.
Conversion work is now well under way on this project.
The applicant explains that the proposed changes only involve the internal layout only with the toilets now to be located in utility rooms at the side of the building.
North Lincolnshire planners are now considering the latest application which "will help preserve the building for many years."
Brigg Town Council will be consulted as part of the process, with the application's public consultation period ending on July 28.
