BRIGG TOWN SHIFT UP A GEAR TO WIN AHEAD OF CLUB'S JULY BIKE NIGHT

There was another welcome win for Brigg Town Football Club as the pre-season programme continued last night (Wednesday, July 13).
The Zebras went a goal down before shifting up a gear in the second half to secure a 5-1 success against Appleby-Frodingham at Scunthorpe's Brumby Hall Ground, off Ashby Road.
Brigg's goals in this friendly against the Steelmen came from Josh Batty (2), Alfie Usher, Ben Young and Scott Phillips (pictured here).
Twice previous winners of the national FA Vase, Brigg have been drawn at home to Runcorn in the initial round on Saturday, August 27.
There's another Bike Night coming up at Town's EC Surfacing Stadium (Hawthorns) DN20 8DT this evening (Thursday).
The start time is 5pm and the clubhouse will be open for refreshments.
These monthly get-togethers launched in April (see picture above).
Everyone is welcome to attend - access being via Wrawby Road (the A18) and the Recreation Ground.
