Brigg Town football officials have confirmed that striker Scott Phillips will be playing for the club during the new season.
A popular performer, Scott finished top scorer among ALL clubs in Toolstation Northern Counties East Division One for the 2021/22 campaign with 37 league goals and a further seven in cup-ties.
This impressive record will have been noted by clubs playing at a higher level, as regular goal-getters are at a premium.
However, a very welcome announcement from the EC Surfacing Stadium (Hawthorns) earlier this week confirmed: "Brigg Town have retained the services of Scott Phillips for the 2022/2023 season."
Local support will be appreciated at tonight's home game (Wednesday, July 6) when the Zebras host Hessle Sporting in a pre-season friendly (7.30pm kick-off). Refreshments will be available on the ground.
