BRIGG ENTERTAINMENT COMING UP THIS WEEKEND & EARLY NEXT WEEK

The Woolpack in Brigg town centre will have Slim and the Dude providing live music on Saturday night (March 26) with free admission to the gig, which will begin at 9pm.
Pictured above, the duo offer popular music from the 1950s through to the 1980s.
Located in the Market Place, this venue also has a disco & karaoke tonight (Friday).
Attending last weekend's Briggensians' Association annual dinner at fully licensed Elsham Golf Club meant we had to decline a kind invitation to attend post-wedding celebrations in Brigg.

However, we did catch up with Mr and Mrs Devai late on Saturday night in the Dying Gladiator to pass on our congratulations.
The happy couple are pictured here adjoining the dance area while people were enjoying the disco and karaoke with some flashing lights (some visible on our image).  Andy is very well-known in Brigg.
There will be another disco & karaoke session at the Bigby Street hostelry this Saturday, from 9pm.
Brigg & District Servicemen's Club does not have a live music 'turn' booked for March 26. However, the Coney Court venue will be holding its annual general meeting on Tuesday (March 29) from 7pm. All members are invited to attend, in support of their club.
There will be disco music at the Black Bull and the Britannia Inn (both on Wrawby Street) tomorrow night (Saturday).

The Lord Nelson, in the Market Place, has a general knowledge quiz coming  on Tuesday, March 29, from 8.30pm.

A real ale beer festival will open at Wetherspoon's White Horse pub & restaurant, Wrawby Street, on Wednesday, March 30 and continue until Sunday, April 10.
