The new tennis season is nearly upon us but tennis continued for many during the winter - for those who wished to play in all weathers nd membership is flourishing, writes Ali Sharp, of Brigg Tennis Club.
The men introduced a winter competitive tennis evening which was very well attended and brought in new members.
Competitively next season we are entering an extra team in the Gainsborough Evening League (4 teams) and a team in the men’s Lindum League.
The ladies play in a daytime indoor league at Louth once a month.
Members also arrange games amongst themselves and there is a regular Sunday afternoon mixed tournament.
Adult coaching with our Level 3 coach Adam Wrightham has already started after a short break over Christmas and the Juniors recommence week beginning March 14th.
For adult coaching, or 1:1 junior coaching, contact Adam directly
For information on junior membership, coaching and junior leagues please visit our website or contact Sue.
