BRIGG FOOTBALLERS LEAD THE LEAGUE


Brigg Town Veterans remain top of Hull & District League Division Four following a home win at the EC Surfacing Stadium (Hawthorns) yesterday afternoon (Sunday, March 6).
The Zebras beat Hull side Drum 1-0 - their tenth victory in 12 league games this season.
Across at the nearby Recreation Ground yesterday, Brigg side Black Bull lost 2-0 to Trinity FC in a Bob Bedford Cup semi-final.
This knockout competition, sponsored by the Crown Inn at Messingham, is organised by the Paul Fox Scunthorpe League.
Broughton WMC's scheduled Dave Ward Trophy semi-final at Black Beauty was postponed, as was Barnetby United's Division Three fixture at Duffs Dynamos
