Two Brigg groups are to receive grants from the Town Council. And local residents will be able to hear the results of one of them.
The bell-ringers at St John's Church, in the town centre, will be receiving £400 to help with refurbishing bell ropes.
They will be sent away and adapted with 'Terri Tops' to prevent the top part wearing away, and will then be usable for another 15-20 years.
Brigg Morning Women's Institute (WI) is getting £220 towards celebrations to mark the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.
This will be a 'street party-style' event for members, to be held in St John's Church Hall, Bigby Street, on June 8.
The council grant will help towards the cost of food and refreshments, entertainment and decorations.
Brigg Town Council agreed these amounts during its latest meeting after applications had been submitted for consideration.
The authority has helped many groups over the years - setting aside a pot of money in its annual budget for this purpose.
Coun Rob Waltham stressed the bells rung at St John's had a community benefit.
Coun Jane Kitching said they could be heard by many people who did did not attend the church.
The bells are seen as an integral part of the community as a whole and will be used for Platinum Jubilee celebrations; they can sound any warnings, such as flood alerts, should the need arise.
Any applications for Town Council grants must be accompanied by details of why assistance is required and be accompanied by a current statement of accounts.
The authority can be contacted by emailing enquiries@briggmarkettown.co.uk
