VISITORS CAN TAKE USEFUL BRIGG INFORMATION ON BOARD WHEN THEY ARRIVE IN TOWN

A new visitor information board installed on the main car park in Brigg during March 2022

People visiting Brigg are showing interest in recently installed public information boards erected on the Old Courts Road and Angel car parks.
This is a welcome Brigg Town Council project, showing visitors what to look out for and also offering information about the town's history.
Existing information boards have been retained, including those on some town centre walls which were installed by Brigg Civic Society many years ago.
Two couples stopped to look at the new board on the southern edge of the Old Courts car park while we were taking some of the pictures seen here.
North Lincolnshire Council and Chris Darlington, a Freeman of Brigg, have assisted the Town Council with this project, with Ken Harrison, chairman of Brigg Matters magazine, providing pictures from his archive to illustrate the text.
Whether you are a 'local' or a visitor to Brigg, we suggest stopping to take a look at the boards next time you are passing.
