The ground floor of a Brigg building which has latterly been used for storage can be converted into a showroom and offices.
North Lincolnshire Council has now granted 'change of use' planning permission for Cranidge House, off Bridge Street, DN20 8NF, and approved the installation of new windows and air conditioning units.
The authority has also granted advertisement consent for various signs to be displayed here, together with replacement flagpoles.
An assessment report by council staff concluded: "The principle of the development is acceptable. The design and impact upon the character of the area are acceptable. There would be no harm to adjacent properties, highways or arising from flood risk matters."
A condition of planning permission is: "No plant for air-conditioning shall be installed until the details have been submitted to, and approved in writing by, the local planning authority."
Approval has also been given to extend a domestic property in Brigg.
This scheme involves demolishing a rear annexe at 7 Poplar Drive, on the Springbank estate, and erecting a two-storey extension to enlarge a kitchen, bedroom and bathroom, plus carrying out alterations to windows and removing an existing chimney stack.
Permission has also been granted to erect a single-storey extension at 16 Windsor Way, Broughton.
Council planners have also approved amended plans to remove a garage to create larger office space at The Poplars, Burnside, Broughton.
