BRIGG TOWN GOAL ACE HITS TELLING HAT-TRICK

Brigg Town Football Club ended a barren spell with a very welcome away win last night (Tuesday, March 15).
The 4-3 triumph at Selby featured a hat-trick for Brigg's leading scorer Scott Phillips (one being a penalty) and a goal from Owen Vincent.
Town were soon two down but had levelled matters at 3-3 by half-time, with Scott providing what proved to be the winning goal as the hour mark approached.
Brigg remain in fourth spot in Toolstation Northern Counties East Division One - on course to make the end-of-season promotion play-offs.
Last night's result increased the side's league goals tally to a very impressive 120 from 35 fixtures.
Scott Phillips has now netted 31 times in league games and is the leading scorer in Brigg's division.
The Zebras' first teamers have five regular season games ahead of them in Division One.
