BRIGG ROADWORKS SET TO LAST UNTIL FRIDAY

Roadworks have now started on a busy road in Brigg and are set to continue through to Friday (March 11).
They have been timed to take place at night on Bigby Road, the A1084, close to the Monument roundabout, with temporary traffic controls in place.
People living in nearby properties are experiencing noise after dark as North Lincolnshire Council, the local highway authority, carries out work to improve drainage.
While this project is progressing, parking on one side of Bigby Road (near the Monument) has been suspended between 7pm and 7am daily, as a temporary measure.
Meanwhile, close to the western edge of this roundabout, Northern Powergrid is continuing its "essential electricity works" which began on a section of Wrawby Street some days ago and have now progressed to East Park, the Tintab seating shelter and part of Bigby Road. This project involves excavating sections of footpath.
