It is now approaching a year since two proposed Brigg housing developments were submitted to North Lincolnshire Council for consideration. Decisions have yet to be announced and the applications' status remains 'not yet determined'.
Outline approval is being sought to erect up to nine dwellings "on land at Westrum Lane" (application 'valid' from December 24, 2020).
Permission is also being requested to erect a replacement dwelling off Mill Lane (application 'valid' from December 10, 2020).
The Westrum Lane application saw further 'supporting documents' received by council planners for consideration in September this year.
'Consultation replies' were received from Highways and The Lead Local Flood Authority last month (November).
Two further documents were supplied to the council in August this year which related to the proposed replacement dwelling off Mill Lane.
Consulted about this application, Brigg Town Council informed North Lincolnshire planners in January 2021 that it had no objections.
Also 'not yet determined' is a outline application ('valid' from August 27, 2020) to erect 70 dwellings (with appearance, landscaping, layout and scale reserved for subsequent consideration) at Keyo Agricultural Services, Island Carr Road.
North Lincolnshire Council decides most of the applications it receives within a few months, following public consultation periods lasting several weeks.
