The late night shopping event due to take place in Brigg today (Thursday, December 16) in the run up to Christmas is OFF.
Some of our shops were planning to remain open until 7pm. However, recent withdrawals by a number that were expected to take part has resulted in the organisers deciding "with a heavy heart" to cancel the event.
The number remaining did not make it viable to continue.
A late night shopping session which went ahead last Thursday (December 9) received "a very low footfall."
A late shopping evening planned on Thursday, December 2 was also cancelled.
